Five Nifty Nut Recipes June 29th, 2018

If you’ve visited our bulk department, you’ve no doubt seen the wide variety of lovely nuts we have for you to fill your pantry with.

Of course, nuts are an awesome snack, but did you know how many amazing things you can make with them?!

We love to cook with these plant-based protein powerhouses and thought we’d share some of our niftiest nut recipes with you!

Here goes!

1) Miso-and-Nut Dip

With only four ingredients and 15 minutes of prep time, there’s no reason not to whip this up for an elegant appetizer!

2) Roasted Beets with Pistachios, Herbs, and Orange

Top red and golden beet slices with a lively mixed-herb dressing, pistachios, and celery leaves and take healthy eating to previously unknown heights of earthy herbaceousness!

3) Kale Chips with Almond Butter and Miso

Salty, savory and oh, so snackable! Is there any better way to eat your greens? (We sure don’t think so!)

4) Smoked-Almond Butter with Crispy Rosemary

Almond butter is easy to find in stores, but making it with smoked almonds in the food processor is crazy easy, and the savory flavor is really unusual.

5) Creamy Peach Tart with Smoky Almond Crust

The quick crust on this creamy tart makes up quick and lets a truly sophisticated smokiness to the sweet peaches.
