Jenny’s Strawberry Rhubarb Slushie May 18th, 2018

There’s no doubt that the combination of strawberry & rhubarb do something for the soul. Whether it calls to mind our grandma’s signature summer pie, or afternoons spent gnawing on salted rhubarb stalks in the shade of our favorite tree, the sweet/tart one-two punch of strawberry rhubarb continues to be a perennial favorite!

Here’s Jenny’s recipe for enjoying this timeless combo as a cooling summer beverage…

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of ice
  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • 4-5 strawberries
  • 1/2 cup rhubarb chopped
  • 1 apple
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey

Directions

Add combine the ingredients in a blender and let’er rip. Pour & enjoy!
