Table at the Co-op
Why Tabling Matters
Tabling outside the Co-op gives local nonprofits and community groups a chance to meet shoppers, share information, recruit volunteers, and showcase their mission. It helps connect our community and gives organizations visibility in a place many people already visit.

Tabling terms & conditions
1. All solicitation must be passive. Under no circumstance may the person(s) representing the soliciting organization make first contact beyond a casual "Hello". Any deviation from this policy will result in the immediate removal of the table.
2. Tabling is only allowed outdoors in the location designated by BFC staff. Berkshire Food Co-op cannot accommodate specific tabling location requests. Relocating without consent of BFC is not allowed. The only accommodation BFC can make due to inclement weather will be an offer to reschedule the tabling event for another day. Under no circumstances will requests for indoor tabling be accommodated.
3. Tables shall be no longer than 8' long and total occupied space shall not exceed 8' x 6'. Equipment/displays constructed can in no way obstruct automobile or pedestrian traffic. The Co-op cannot offer furniture or other accommodation. Anything needed or desired for the tabling display must be supplied by the soliciting organization.
4. If asked, it must be made clear that the Co-op does not specifically endorse the soliciting organization. All person(s) tabling are doing so solely as a representative of the soliciting organization and in no way representative of BFC, despite any existing or prior connection to BFC unless arrangements are made that explicitly declare a partnership between the soliciting organization and BFC.
5. At any time, leadership at BFC may ask for changes in tabling materials or end the tabling session early. Situations in which changes may apply include, but are not limited to, if the materials are deemed inflammatory or deceptive, or the tabling interferes with customer traffic.
6. All tabling must be scheduled in advance, and representatives requesting a table must adhere to their pre-arranged time frame.
7. If granted permission, the permitted "Tabling Person(s)" may set up their table at the agreed upon time and should not expect to check-in with BFC staff.
8. Submission of this application serves as acknowledgement of the above stated policies. Failure to follow these policies will result in revoking of future tabling opportunities for the named soliciting organization.
